Il sito è stato avviato per divulgare i dati di frequenza di alcune malattie
infettive soggette, in Italia, a notifica obbligatoria, raccolte con un sistema sperimentale di informatizzazione delle
segnalazioni dal livello territoriale (distretto sanitario o ASL) alla banca
dati nazionale. |

Il sistema sperimentale denominato SIMI è
coordinato dall'ISS ed attualmente include 17 delle 20 regioni italiane,
che hanno accettato volontariamente di partecipare. Il SIMI permette il ritorno delle informazioni circa la
frequenza di alcune patologie con un ritardo medio di pochi mesi.
In questo sito potete consultare la banca
dati del SIMI che contiene le notifiche individuali delle malattie di classe II degli
ultimi anni. |

sufficiente serie di dati e informazioni sono state raccolte nella sezione Malattie

Per la Banca Dati del SIMI è invece possibile effettuare
interrogazioni ad hoc in linea. |

Welcome

the website of the Italian Istituto Superiore di
Sanità (ISS) dedicated to Epidemiology of Infectious Disease. Here you will
find data on frequency of some infectious diseases in Italy. Most of them refer
to communicable diseases subjected to statutory
notification at national level. Individual notifications are collected
through an experimental computerised system that links the local health
authorities to a national databank (SIMI), coordinated by the ISS. Participation
to the experimental system has been voluntary and so far ISS receives
computerised databases from 17 of the 20 Italian regions. Consultation on-line
of the total SIMI database available at ISS is
possible from this web site. Aggregated results can be obtained from the
individual records of cases of diseases notified in class
II of the national notification system (according to the Italian Infectious
Disease Notification Act, 1990) from recent years.
The database can be accessed on-line for ad hoc queries.
This system aims to facilitate the feedback of elaborated information on common
communicable diseases, within only few months of delay, as well as to improve
availability of results of non-statutory
systems of surveillance of some infectious diseases (e.g. bacterial
meningitis, VTEC infections, etc).
Graphs and tables for pathologies where data have been analysed are also
available.
